DUBAI – Motorists who incurred traffic fines in Ras Al Khaimah will still be able to avail of a 30 percent discount after the police extended the campaign.
The discount scheme has been extended until the end of November, according to the Ras Al Khaimah Police (RAK Police).
The initiative was rolled out on October 7 as part of Ras Al Khaimah’s Year of Zayed celebrations.
The traffic fine discount includes all fines issued by radar at least 81 days before October 7.
RAK Police Commander-in-Chief Major General Ali Al Nuami said the traffic fine discount is meant to ease the financial burden on motorists.
RAK Police also announced that the registration, renewal and ownership transfer on electric vehicles will be exempt from charges until December 31, 2021. GAD/Expat Media
