DUBAI – An Arab teenager was found hanged in her home in Sharjah, with initial police investigation pointing to possible suicide.
Police said the incident happened at Al Ramtha area. Emergency personnel found the teen, 13, hanging by the neck with a black scarf tied to the ceiling.
She was taken to Al Qassimi Hospital where doctors failed to revive her. A forensic report showed that she died due to suffocation by hanging.
The Sharjah Police has referred the case to the Public Prosecution as an investigation is underway to find out the reasons behind the teen’s death. ICA/Expat Media
