DUBAI – Illegal street vendors and promotional card distributors were among 56 people arrested and deported from Sharjah for running unlicensed businesses.
According to Sharjah Police, the violators were caught illegally selling items on the streets, posting ads on residential doors and leaving promotional cards on vehicles.
Major General Saif Al-Ziri Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, said that police and CID officers were deployed to arrest the violators.
