DUBAI – A reality fitness challenge will open to Filipino expatriates in the UAE in February with the top prize going to the biggest weight loser.
The Souqpinoy Slimdown Challenge aims to “encourage the Filipino expats to not forget about their health”, organisers said. The winner will also get products, service and other items worth Dh10,000 from sponsors.
The challenge spans six weeks starting on February 25, and participants can click here to register.
The fitness training will consist of 30 to 45-minute workouts per day from Sunday to Thursday at The Coach Academy Al Muneera Gym in Bur Dubai.
Contestants must complete the daily challenge within one hour. Each challenger will be given a diet plan by The Coach Academy and The Medical City.
Every week, elimination rounds will be held and the challenger who lost the least weight will be voted out.
The challenge is open to Filipino residents, aged 20 to 50 and at least 20 percent overweight
