DUBAI – Tennis legend Serena Williams will face her sister, Venus, as she returns to Abu Dhabi for the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
“I loved playing in Abu Dhabi last year. I am excited to return to such a beautiful city and to see my fans. This time, I’ll be playing against my sister, so the match will be even more special,” Serena said.
The Williams’ will join Rafael Nadal, Novac Djokovic and Kevin Anderson for the mega tournament in Abu Dhabi later this month.
Serena, a 23-time Grand Slam winner, played at Mubadala World Tennis Championship last year, marking her return to tennis after nearly a year following the birth of her daughter.
