Rain, haze forecast in parts of UAE

 

DUBAI – Some rainfall and haze are forecast to hit parts of the UAE on Sunday (December 16), according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

The weather bureau said cloudy skies “associated with rainfall” may extend over some coastal areas and inland during the daytime.

Strong winds of up to 45km/h is also expected from 9am to 7pm, with some haze expected from 11am to 6pm.

Monday, December 17

Fair to partly cloudy in general. Humid by night and tomorrow early morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some western internal areas. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds, with a speed of 15 – 25 km/hr, reaching 38 km/hr. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, December 18

Fair to partly cloudy in general. Humid by night and early morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some internal areas. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds, with a speed of 15 – 25 km/hr, reaching 35 km/hr. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Wednesday, December 19

Fair to partly cloudy in general, with fall of temperatures. Humid by night and tomorrow early morning over some internal areas. Light to moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening over the sea with a speed of 15 – 30 km/hr, reaching 45 km/hr at times over the sea. Sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.

Thursday, December 20

Fair to partly cloudy in general. Humid by night and tomorrow early morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some areas. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds in general, freshening at times, with a speed of 15 – 25 km/hr, reaching 35 km/hr at times.
