How Filipinos in Dubai celebrated winter with fun, games, Mocha Uson, Mocha Girls & The Wishfuls

Zabeel Park in Dubai turned into a winter wonderland for Filipino expatriates on Friday (December 7) as hundreds joined the first Pinoy Winter Festival in the emirate.

The open amphiteatre was the center of activity during the day-long event.

There were games, competitions, people in fun costumes and so much more. We even spotted Santa… And his twin!

Santa’s helpers and a stylish elf were there, too.

We also spotted the ice king and queen, who were part of 12 people competing in the winter costume contest. Check out how they created elaborate costumes out of recycled objects!

Filipino community members turned up to join the party and try their luck at some games.

There were special guests, too, starting with The Wishfuls.

The power vocalists wowed the crowd with a medley of winter-themed tunes (and some OPM hits)

The crowd was also entertained by singer-dancer and former Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office, Mocha Uson.

The Mocha Girls were also in full force with their high-octane dance moves.

Fans couldn’t get enough of Mocha Uson, who gladly obliged to selfies with the crowd.

And some more selfie souvenirs to cap the night…
