DUBAI – Adnoc stations in the UAE are giving motorists a summer relief: No additional Dh10 fee for assistance from a pump attendant between 11am to 5pm.
Announcing the campaign on Sunday (July 7), Adnoc said that the free assisted fueling service is available from July to August for all Adnoc Wallet customers. Customers without Adnoc Wallet can get the free service in July, but will need to sign up to avail of the free service in August.
Adnoc rolled out its Premium Service last year, allowing motorists to fuel their vehicles on their own for free, or pay Dh10 extra for assistance. The elderly and people of determination are exempted from the service fee.
Motorists must use a “Smart Tag” to quickly refuel and pay without using cash or bank cards.
The tag will be fixed to a vehicle to automatically trigger payment from your pre-paid Adnoc wallet, which can also be connected to other payment options including the Emirates ID card or Adnoc Plus card.
The registration, activation and obtaining the smart tag costs Dh50.
In case a person sells his car, the owners can deactivate the tag and reactivate it in other car without additional charge.
The card is available through www.adnocdistribution.ae. ICA/Expat Media
