DUBAI – An abra service is now available at the Deira Waterfront after the Road Transport Authority (RTA) recently opened a marine transport station there.
According to the RTA, the launch is the latest phase of its marine transport network expansion in Dubai.
The abra service covers the Waterfront Market Station and Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station, said Nazim Faisal, director of marine transport at RTA’s Public Transport Agency.
A water taxi service will be launched later, he added.
“The new service will make the journey to the new markets a fun and enjoyable experience,” said Essam Galadari, director and CEO of developer Ithra Dubai. GAD/Expat Media
