DUBAI – How would you like your fish? Covered in gold?
Not a problem, with a newly opened restaurant in Dubai literally serving the glittering fish from its menu.
Doors Freestyle Grill, which recently opened in Al Seef, calls it the “royal delicacy”.
The fresh sea bass is marinated and cooked in a special orange-flavoured sauce before being completely coated in edible 23k gold.
The dish costs Dh675 and will need to be pre-ordered.
This is not the first time Dubai, the city of gold, has featured gold in the menu. There have also been burgers topped with gold flakes, gold-infused chocolates, and gold cappuccinos. GAD/Expat Media
