New 90-day visa in Saudi Arabia soon

DUBAI – Saudi Arabia will be introducing a new visa allowing Saudis and expatriates to sponsor up to five people on a 90-day visit visa to the country.

The Directorate of General Passports and the Ministry of Haj and Umrah announced that the visa will be available through the Ministry of Interior’s portal of Absher.

The new visa will allow locals and expats to host up to five Umrah pilgrims on a personal sponsorship. Saudi citizens can host anyone while expats can host relatives.

The visa would cost 500 riyals per person per year. After issuance of the 90-day visa, the tourist can reapply for a new visa at least three times per year. ICA/Expat Media
