DUBAI – A 22-year-old Tanzanian man was killed after he was hit by a speeding car as he was trying to help a stranded female motorist on the roadside.
The incident happened on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road on Monday (April 15), according to police.
Police said that the woman’s car had broken down on the road and the man was trying to help her restart the vehicle when he was hit by a speeding car.
The impact of the collision instantly killed the victim, who was transported to Al Kuwaiti Hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken into police custody and is expected to face charges. GAD/Expat Media
