SHARJAH – An investigation is underway after a 53-year-old Bangladeshi man was found dead in Sharjah, according to the Sharjah Police.
Police said that the body was found in Sharjah’s Industrial Area 1 on Sunday morning, and was taken to Al Qasimi hospital where doctors pronounced the man dead.
Police identified the deceased Bangladeshi through his initials M.M.K. He was in the UAE on visit visa, police said.
The man was believed to have consumed a chemical substance to commit suicide. He died four hours after ingesting the substance, police said.
