DUBAI – A street in Lebanon has been named after UAE’s founding father, Sheikh Zayed.
A main street and roundabout in Beirut will bear the name of Sheikh Zayed.
The announcement was made at a reception to mark the Year of Zayed.
The memorial ceremony in Beirut was attended by the UAE Ambassador to Lebanon and other officials.
UAE President Sheikh Khalifa, in a message, thanked Lebanese President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Saad Al Hariri for the gesture.
