DUBAI – Jaywalking in Dubai is an offense that invites a fine of Dh400, the Dubai Police said in a fresh warning.
“Crossing roads from undesignated places endangers your life and results in a fine of Dh400,” the Dubai Police said on Twitter.
Jaywalking is one of the top traffic offences in the UAE and is one of the deadliest, leading to the deaths of 63 people in 2017 alone.
