DUBAI – Visitors of Gitex Technlogy Week in Dubai got a sneak peek into the future of travel as they clambered onboard a prototype of the Hyperlooop One at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The futuristic transport is expected to travel at unbelievable speeds: Riyadh to the UAE in 30 minutes, and from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in just 11 minutes, officials said.
Virgin Hyperloop One is hoping to launch the service within the UAE and GCC starting in 2027, said Harj Dhaliwal, managing director for Middle East and India at Virgin Hyperloop.
