DUBAI – The daughter of an imam or worship leader in Ras Al Khaimah was killed in a car crash in the Al Rams area recently, police said.
The victim, identified as Zulfa, was travelling with her parents when her father lost control of the vehicle. The Indian toddler, 2, died from injuries after the family’s car veered off the road and overturned several times.
Both parents were also injured in the crash.
The toddler was declared dead on arrival at Saqr Hospital where her family was taken for treatment. The parents are now reportedly in stable condition.
Police said that the case has been referred to concerned authorities for legal action. Zulfa was buried at the Filya cemetery in Ras Al Khaimah. ICA/Expat Media
