DUBAI – The mother of seven children who died in a fire that broke out in their Fujairah home is on trial on the charge of causing their deaths.
According to records, the children, aged between five and 15, were sleeping in their bedrooms when fire started in their living room.
Prosecutors alleged that the woman locked her children inside their home, adding that the only door out of the property was locked.
Firefighters found the children unconscious in their bedrooms. They died from inhaling toxic fumes.
The court is expected to issue a verdict on November 18. ICA/Expat Media
