DUBAI – A 30-year-old man has been arrested at the Dubai airport for using a fake passport, authorities revealed on Tuesday (July 9).
The Asian suspect had presented the fake travel document at the departure gate where an officer noticed that the passport was printed using normal ink.
Upon closer inspection, officials found that the Indonesian passport also bore no official marks, although it had a fake entry stamp.
Investigation revealed that the visitor brought his airline tickets just two days before his flight in May and he did not have any baggage.
The case has been referred to the criminal court where the Asian man will be tried on the charge of forcing official documents. ICA/Expat Media
