DUBAI – Gold prices fell slightly on Wednesday, a day after hitting their highest in three months.
The overall rise in gold prices has been spurred by purchases ahead of the Indian festival of light Diwali, retailers said.
In Dubai, 24k gold was priced at Dh149.25 per gram, while 22k gold cost Dh140.25 per gram, according to latest prices from the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group.
The prices are 25 fils less than yesterday’s gold prices, including 21k gold at Dh133.75 per gram (from Dh134 on Tuesday).
