DUBAI – Dubai-based flower shop Petals by Carmille on Tuesday (September 18) launched the first loyalty card of its kind in the emirate—a reward card for flower lovers.
“It’s our way of thanking customers who regularly buy their bouquets from us, and to encourage those who appreciate fresh blooms,” said Marycel Molina Roxas, proprietor of Petals by Carmille.
The loyalty card is now available at the Petals by Carmille shop in Al Ghurair Centre in Dubai. Card holders can check out www.rewards.petalsbycarmille.com for updates on their account.
The card entitles holders to get a bouquet worth Dh100 for every ten bouquets or flower arrangement they purchase. For other gift items, such as premium chocolates, balloons, cards and accessories purchased at the store, customers can also get a 5 percent rebate converted to points that they can use in their next purchases.
The UAE is one of the world’s top exporters of fresh flowers, with more than 70,000 tonnes of fresh flowers transported last year alone, according to Emirates Skycargo.
