DUBAI – Do you cultivate hope in the Arab world? You could win Dh1 million in the Arab Hope Makers initiative in Dubai.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced the third edition of the initiative on Monday.
“Every person has a capacity to give and a talent to invest in serving societies,” Sheikh Mohammed said at the launch of the initiative to highlight philanthropic efforts in the region.
“Water drops make a river, and reigniting civilizations starts with giving. Creating hope will spark a new life in our region,” Sheikh Mohammed added.
The Arab Hope Makers initiative is part of the Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, and honours people for the humanitarian projects and initiatives.
The winner will receive the Dh1 million award in recognition of their efforts and as financial support to develop and expand their humanitarian projects.
Individuals, groups and entities can enter the initiative and submit their stories of hope through www.arabhopemakers.com as part of the registration process.
