Coronavirus in UAE: 50 new cases, including 6 Indians, 2 Filipinos as of March 24

 

DUBAI – The Ministry of Health and Prevention on Tuesday (March 24) announced 50 new cases of the novel coronavirus or Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the UAE to 248.

The ministry also announced that four people have recently recovered from the new coronavirus.

On the newly infected, the ministry said that the individuals had close contact with people who were earlier diagnosed with coronavirus.

The ministry said the 50 new individuals who tested positive for coronavirus are in “stable condition and receiving necessary medical care”.

4 new recovered patients

Meanwhile, the four individuals who recently recovered from the infection are three Pakistanis and one Bangladeshi, bringing the UAE’s total number of recovered cases to 45.
