DUBAI – UAE-based quick service restaurant chain Chicking continued its expansion in Oman with the opening of its 19th outlet in the country.
The newest Chicking outlet at Mall of Muscat welcomed its first visitors on July 16, said Sreekanth Pillai, CEO of BFI DMCC, Chicking’s global franchise management division.
Chicking on Saturday (July 20) began year-long celebrations as Chicking marked its 20th anniversary. The world’s first Halal-compliant quick service restaurant chain is celebrating the milestone with a 20 percent discount on orders in any of its UAE branches, said Maqbool Modi, Director of Operations of Chicking.
In Oman, the opening ceremony of the newest outlet was graced by A.K. Mansoor, Founder and Chairman of Chicking, franchise partners, dignitaries and special guests.
Earlier this year, Chicking opened an outlet in Sohar, Oman. The UAE-grown restaurant chain has become a hit in Oman with its international, Halal-compliant menu of chicken, burgers, wraps, pizzas and pastas. ICA/Expat Media
