DUBAI – A charity fun run will be held around Lapita Hotels and Resorts and Dubai Parks and Resorts on Friday (March 15).
The fun run, held in collaboration with the Desert Road Runners, is open to adults and children.
The course starts and finishes in front of the Polynesian-inspired resort and takes runners on a loop right through the beautiful river and infamous LEGOLAND Dubai, Riverland Dubai and Motiongate Dubai theme parks.
Runners will be cheered on by Smurf characters and enjoy a complimentary breakfast afterwards and can bask in the reward of a free day pool pass at Lapita Hotel and receive a 20 percent discount on F&B consumption or explore the theme parks at a reduced entry fee of Dh 155 per person.
The one-of-a-kind run can be completed in three distances, 10KM, 5KM and 3KM (for junior runners) with water stations every 2.5KM and contributes towards the Al Jalila Foundation – a fund-raising charity supported by the Hotel’s ongoing “Road to Awareness”.
The “Road to Awareness” has been involved in making a positive difference to the lives of thousands of children around the world since the launch in 2008, particularly to Al Jalila Foundation in the United Arab Emirates since 2015.
