DUBAI – The world’s most visited attractions in 2018 have been named, with Dubai’s landmark building, the Burj Khalifa, beating the Buckingham Palace on the list.
According to transport network company Uber, Burj Khalifa is the sixth most popular destination in 2018, outranking the British landmark, as well as the Opera House in Sydney.
Uber compiled the list based on the number of journeys taken by Uber passengers in 2018.
Two skyscrapers in New York topped the list, with the Empire State Building ranked as the world’s most visited attraction, followed by the Freedom Tower or the rebuilt World Trade Center. In third place was the CN tower in Canada.
The Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris came in at fourth and fifth place.
