DUBAI – The first Abu Dhabi Marathon will be held on Friday and a number of streets will be closed between midnight and 2pm on Friday (December 1), according to the Department of Transport.
Road closures will affect the stretch from Marina Mall and the Corniche. There will also be partial street closures, including the street leading to Qars Al Hosn.

From Thursday to Friday, road number 18 between the Adnoc Headquarters and Hilton Hotel will be closed.

An entertainment village has been set up in Bainunah Park, which features food trucks, live entertainment and a bazaar that are open from 4am on Friday.
Marathon runners can park at the ADNOC Tower staff parking, while runners in the 10k race can park at Nation Towers. Participants in the 5k and 2.5k fun runs can park at Hudayriat Island. GAD/Expat Media
