DUBAI – A UAE-based Indian couple and their baby boy were killed in a car crash in Oman that also left their three-year-old daughter in critical condition at a hospital.
According to the Indian Consulate in Dubai, the incident happened on Friday while the family was on their way to Dubai from Salalah.
The victims were identified as Ghousulla Azmathulla Khan, 30, Ayesha Siddiqua, 29, and their eight-month-old baby boy Hamza Khan.
According to the consulate, the crash instantly killed the couple and their baby. Their other child, Haniya, survived but is in critical condition at Khoula Hospital.
The Indian Consulate in Dubai said that the bodies of the victims were flown to Hyderabad from Muscat on Sunday (September 15).
The Indian Embassy and Consulate in the UAE said they are in touch with the victims’ relatives and friends to provide assistance.
According to the Royal Oman Police, the crash occurred after a vehicle overturned and collided with another vehicle. Three Omanis in the first vehicle were also killed in the crash. ICA/Expat Media
