DUBAI – A budget of Dh56.8 billion has been approved for Dubai that will help the emirate create 2,498 new jobs in 2019, the ruler of Dubai said in a statement.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, approved the budget.
In a statement on his website, Sheikh Mohammed said that the budget will create 2,498 new jobs in 2019.
The budget for 2019 will cover general and administrative expenses, grants and subsidies, which represent 47 percent of the total expenditure, while 33 percent of the budget will go to health, education and housing. GAD/Expat Media
