DUBAI – A vehicle crashed into a tram in Dubai Marina on Wednesday, causing a temporary shutdown of services.
The tram service between Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah Stations was suspended after a vehicle crashed into the side of a tram’s coach, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Shuttle buses were deployed for tram riders affected by the disruption.
The tram service resumed at around 11am after teams from the RTA and Dubai Police removed the vehicle from the crash site.
