DUBAI – Ahead of Philippine singer Morissette’s gig in Dubai, VVIP tickets to the August 17 concert have already been sold out, organisers said.
Ticket distributor Platinumlist.net on Sunday (July 1) listed VVIP tickets as sold out, with VIP, Gold and Silver tickets “selling fast”.
Morissette is set to give UAE fans a repertoire of popular covers and some originals from her self-titled album at the show in Zabeel Hall 2 of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The 22-year-old superstar—dubbed Asia’s phoenix because of her stellar voice—will be sharing the stage with special guest Sam Concepcion.
Morissette broke into the music scene by competing in Star Factor at the age of 14.
She rose to fame after competing in The Voice of the Philippines in 2013.
Since then, she has reaped several awards, including New Female Recording Artist of the Year by 7th PMPC Star Awards for Music.
Watch out for Morissette’s exclusive interview with Expatmedia.net soon.
