DUBAI – The Eid Al Fitr holiday for employees in the federal government will begin on Thursday (June 14), according to the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
The authority said that the holiday will last until the third day of Shawwal or Sunday.
For the private sector, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that the Eid Al Fitr holiday will begin on the first and second days of Shawwal.
With Eid Al Fitr falling on Friday (June 15), the holiday for the private sector will last until Saturday (June 16) while the holiday for the public sector will last until Sunday (June 17). GAD/Expat Media
