DUBAI – Dusty conditions in the UAE will continue on Monday and Tuesday, forecasters said, a day after thick haze covered the Dubai skyline.
On Sunday, moderately strong winds kicked up dust in Dubai, lowering visibility levels to less than 2,000 metres in most areas, particularly west and south of the emirate.
Haze and dust storms are common in the UAE during seasonal transitions, with winter making way for spring in this instance.
Forecasters said the UAE will continue to experience haze on Monday and Tuesday, although the weather will be generally partly cloudy on Monday and Tuesday.
Temperatures will also drop by up to 3 degrees Celcius, hitting a maximumg of 34 degrees Celcius on Tuesday.
Humidity levels will increase, however, rising from 55 percent to 85 percent in Dubai on Tuesday. DAJ/Expat Media
