DUBAI – UAE residents now have access to unlimited app voice and video calls to anywhere in the world with etisalat’s new internet calling plans.
The service uses two applications C’Me and BOTIM available for both iOS and Android devices and are available to Etisalat subscribers using prepaid, postpaid or e-Life home broadband.
Subscribers will be able to make unlimited video and voice calls to their family or friends anywhere in the world who have downloaded the same app. Downloading the app is free.
Etisalat said there are two types of internet calling plans: the mobile plan for a monthly rate of Dh50 that allows users to make app to app voice and video calls using their mobile data plan; or the eLife plan for Dh100 per month that allows users to make app to app voice and video call from their home eLife Wifi.
Etisalat did not say if and when new VoIP apps may be added to the list of supported apps. DAJ/Expat Media
