DUBAI – The entry fee to Global Village will remain VAT-free after the entertainment venue said it is absorbing value added tax to attract more visitors.
The entrance ticket to Global Village still costs Dh15 per person. However, rides and other purchases inside the venue will be subject to a five percent VAT.
The Global Village houses 27 pavilions where people can buy goods from more than 75 countries, as well as enjoy cultural shows and entertainment.
It is open daily until April 7 from 4pm to 12am (Saturday to Wednesday) and from 4pm to 1am on Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays. Children under three years old and people aged 65 and above enter free. Monday is a family day. DAJ/Expat Media
