SHARJAH – Two Emirati brothers, aged 5 and 10, were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Sharjah-Umm Al Quwain Road, according to Sharjah Police.
The brothers were in a car with their father and three other brothers when their vehicle crashed into the rear of a truck before overturning and hitting another truck on Monday.
Police had to use hydraulic equipment to extract the victims from the wreckage.
Investigation revealed that the driver, the Emirati father, was speeding and did not follow lane discipline.
The two boys were instantly killed in the crash, while their three brothers and father sustained serious injuries. One of the children is in critical condition, police said. DAJ/Expat Media
