DUBAI – Now you can get up close and personal with the captivating Dubai Fountain near Burj Khalifa. Just how close? Nine metres from the water jets!
A new 272-metre floating platform allows visitors to get walk from the Burj Park or from the fountain promenade to the boardwalk for a super close-up view of the dancing fountains.
The platform is open from 5pm to 11pm, with an entrance fee of Dh20 per person. Children below the age of four are not allowed on the platform.
Tickets are on sale at the Fountain promenade, Burj Park and At the Top.
The Dubai Fountain in Downtown Dubai is the world’s tallest performing fountain, measuring over 900 ft in length or equivalent to over two football pitches.
The Dubai Fountain is situated on the 30-acre Burj Lake and performs to a selection of different songs from classical to contemporary.
The fountain has a unique design comprising of five circles of varying sizes and two arcs, and features powerful water nozzles that shoot water up to impressive heights.
Over 6,600 superlights and 25 colour projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1,000 different water expressions. DAJ/Expat Media
