DUBAI – An iPad that is an iPhone X? Tech giant Apple is reportedly working on a redesign for a high-end iPad that has the key features of the iPhone X.
The tablet is expected to be released later in 2018 and will feature slimmer edges and facial recognition, sources said.
It won’t likely include an OLED screen, thought, but at least one new iPad model will have a screen size similar to the 10.5-inch iPad Pro.
The device can be unlocked using Face ID, which replaces the home button.
The new version will mark the first revamped look for the iPad since the first iPad Pro debuted in 2015.
Apple last updated the device in June by adding a 10.5-inch screen size option to the iPad Pro and a ProMotion screen to make it easier for multi-tasking. DAJ/Expat Media
