US comic Louis C.K. admits masturbating in front of women

NEW YORK – “These stories are true,” award-winning US comedian Louis C.K. said after a US newspaper published accusations from women that he masturbated or asked to masturbate in front of them.

The incidents of sexual misconduct happened in late 199s to 2005, the women claimed.

“At the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true,” the 50-year-old comedian said in a statement.

“But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your [genitalia] isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me,” he said.

“I have been remorseful of my actions,” he said.

C.K. said there was “nothing about this that I forgive myself for” and claimed he could “hardly wrap my head around the scope of hurt I brought” on the women and colleagues with whom he has worked.

Following his statement of guilt, the father of two was dumped by Netflix, his publicist and television networks FX and HBO. His upcoming movie, I Love You Daddy, was also scrapped.

C.K. is the latest celebrity to face sex scandals that have destroyed the careers of Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey. DAJ/Expat Media
